Privacy policy

mDropit is designed for local-first 3D asset work. Your library files stay on your machine unless you explicitly use a feature that requires a server request, license activation, or future cloud processing.

Launch funnel analytics

During launch we collect limited product events so we can understand where Free Starter, Smart Start, Pro Trial, and Pro Desktop need improvement. Examples include first open, Smart Start unlock progress, Pro Trial activation results, trial reminders, subscription starts or cancels, and anti-abuse review outcomes.

These events do not include file paths, asset names, full emails, license-signing material, API keys, or file contents. Hardware identifiers are hashed before storage and are used only for entitlement, abuse prevention, and aggregate funnel analysis.

You can opt out of desktop launch analytics in mDropit Viewer Settings. Operational security records needed for licensing, payments, fraud prevention, and support still remain because they are required to provide the service.

Community sharing

Community improvement sharing is separate from launch analytics. It is disabled unless you opt in from Settings, and the Viewer explains each sharing option before it is enabled.
